The company was founded in 2001 as a vehicle for its founders to explore, prototype and commercialise their own innovative product ideas while also providing software development services to the Defence, Banking, Health and Education sectors.

Systemic’s designers and engineers have 25 years of experience in designing, developing and managing large and complex software systems. This began with military systems across the Land, Sea, Air and Joint Force domains. This expertise has been taken into non-defence sectors where the team have worked on major enterprise-grade application and integration projects in the Health, Education and Financial Services sectors.

Systemic has also self-funded the development and commercialisation of many successful software products including its Shedworx, Jaksta and Property Inspection Manager product lines. These products have been developed, maintained and supported by Systemic engineers and support staff and have millions of users globally. Systemic’s most popular desktop app has consistently maintained the number 1 position in the Video category of Mac App Store for over 8 years.
